Such events don't happen often, but when they do, it's hard to forget how they make us feel. I remember very clearly where I was when the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster happened, when the 9/11 attacks happened, and when Barack Obama became the US president.
Sometimes such big events bring people together. This week, many of us came together to watch the final game between Korea and Japan in the World Baseball Classic.
This week, I want you to write fifty words telling me about how you felt watching big events such as these unfold before your eyes. I look forward to reading your stories.

I remember 2002 worldcup. because I cheered korea soccer team, I went to the central park in Bundang. The match contestant was Italia.

In March 29th, yesterday Kim Yuna wins held from America Los Angeles world figure skating championships. Her beautiful acts and expression is very very wonderful. Not only me all korean people together pleased and when the Yu-na crying together crying. When I saw her 3 rotation jump my heart is fasted and excited. Yu-na is No.1 figure skater in the world is absolutely certain.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was fourteen old, I went a sport ground in Bucheon with my family. Because we wanted cheering for our football player. So I was painting to my face and I wore Reds T-shirt. Our players were very well so our soccer team made the semifinals. I and my family shout and jump becouse we were very good.

I watched the World Cup on TV with family or friends.
Accidentally, We got tickets to see South Korea and Spain With the football game.
I could see the real game.
I was excited and nervous throughout the game to see.
we win spain though panel kick, every body standed up and screamed.
also, I was so excited and happy.
The 2002 world cup is a pleasant memory for me.
I remember 2008 Olympic in beijing.

baseball, swimming, soccer, running, weight lifting, Archery, badminton and so on.
Position, such as the Beijing Olympics, China 1, 2, including the United States. South Korea ranks 7.
I can't ever forget Park Tae Hwan who is swimmer. He had a new world record in Olympics.
besides anyother athlete win an Olympic medal.
I'm very happy and impression.
I love Korea athletes.><

The game was Korea and Japean.
also, it was the decision of WBC.
when the game start, I didn't watch it.
becase I entered class.
I was sad and angry. And I want to finsh early class.
When class fished, I run my college.
I only thought WBC in my brain.
I arrived at my college, it start the first half of the sixth inning.
My country defended Japan.
This game raised tensions us.
When it became the second half of the nineth inning, it made the same grade.
it got ready the extrainning game.
I didn't last game. becase i entered class.
I gave ear to losed my country of WBC.
I was sad. But my country players very well.

I remember World Baseball Classic in 2009.

The final round is started.
But I can't watch the final round for a study.
But I listened commentary through MP3 radio.
During the study, I listened cheers at the second floor.
Baseball game is halved a match!!
I wish jump down, yet The study isn't ended.
After one hour, the study is finished.
I leaped down at the second floor.
The match went into extra innings.
I caught my breath, and watched game.
But game is half the battle of Japan.
Korea is losed in overtime.
I felt sad.
Because people is partner of joys and sorrows,
however, game is very excited.

Test period, but I went to the park to cheer at every match.I was screaming and cheering for the cap. As the Gwanghwamun went to cheer up, everything wsa exciting and fun.
Eventually failed in the semifinals, A small country can be good at football. Once again We will win the World Cup, I believe korea team.
Created by all the people cheering so much I miss the 2002 World Cup. Since the 2002 World Cup, I became interested in soccer.
I can't forget the World Figure Skating Championships. Yu-na Kim scored 131.59 in the ladies' free skating. She came out of the competition with a combined score of 207.71, becoming the first female single skater to break a total score of 200. she received a standing ovation from the crowd after showing off her artistic talents. Coming in second was Joannie Rochette from Canada followed by Miki Ando from Japan. I was astounded by her every move when I saw her complete on the television. Every spin, every turn was delicate and clean. I was amazed again by her full-hearted performance. She is the world's best.

ReplyDeleteThe gesture of Kim Yun Ah was fantastic.
One of the women's single received a score of 207.71.
And she won the GALA show.
At the same time the national anthem is ringing, She shed tears.
I also shed tears.
I was really proud.
I like all sports. soccer, basketball, baseball, and etc...

I didn't see the game. because of taking lessons.
After, I run TV as soon as the lesson is finished.
that occasion, i listen huge shouting.
five bottom inning, Shin Soo Choo goes downtown.
I sweat the palm of the hand and shake heart.
Last inning, A hit of Bum ho Lee makes same grade.
time was pm 2:00. I had to go class. But, I ultimately didn't go the class.I supports until an extra inning game.
finally, we lose...
my heart was frustrated.
nevertheless, Baseball of Korea is very very good play!

ReplyDelete2002 world cup made me, my mom, dad, brother, friends, and everyone happy.
i was 15, 8 grade in 2002.
Friends, and many people watched Korea VS. Spain together.
i can't forget that i was worrying during the game.
after last game, the Korea defeated Speain, i was so happy.
i felt i proud of our korean soccer members.
and also it opened in korea, so it was more great.
when i think about the all koreans in one heart, i am so impressed.
i wanted to see the final game with the best soccer team brazil, but we lost by Gemany. it was one of my best remembers in my life.
today is delight day.

I am not interested in sports except basketball. But I sometimes see soccer game in these days.
As,I saw soccer play, some scene is very strong impression.
For example:
We played Poland at first time. and GOAL!!!!!
The goal is first ball to us.
I was so so so happy.
Wow~I think that soccer game and player are very nice♡.
When We go in four teams in world, I falt like WOLRD CUP winner.
So,When goalkipper was block up other country soccer ball in spot kicks after a tie, My heart is fast beat and I cried a little bit.
Although, we failed to final winner, I proud of our soccer players and our country.KOREA!!

Park Tae-hwan came to happy first class players.
I win like I was happy.
Park Tae-hwan who gave all the people cheer, I would like gladden.
Park Tae players still win reminds me of Michael Phelps .
I like football. But I did not before. Why I like soccer, is the 2002 World Cup. I was a junior high school grade one of the 2002 World Cup was fantastic. Everyone cheered and was happy. Yes, I was so happy. I'll show you the game, I did not know it was great. I did not forget the excitement. I enjoy playing soccer since the 2002 World Cup was to see.

when 2002 world cup. 2002year korea is crazy in soccer. vs italy soccer game is best of best game. I see all korea games. All korea game is fantastic game. I'm proud of red devil.
